LOCATION:
Bāmiyān Province. On the
south side of the Saighān Valley, 2 km west of Saighān
'Alaqadari on the route to Deh Iman and Dandānshikān
Pass.
DATE: Turk
/pre-Mongol Islamic, 9th-13th C. (Architectural).
DESCRIPTION:
Remains of a
fortress on two spurs on the side of the valley, consisting
of ruins of high mud walls and towers."
