LOCATION: Balkh
Province. 3 km east of the outer walls of Balkh, near a small
cemetery just off the Mazar-i Sharif road.
DATE: Timurid,
15th C. (Stylistic).
DESCRIPTION: A
baked brick mausoleum on a baked brick platform c. 50 c high.
The entrance is flanked by stairs to the roof. Inside there
are four blocked windows in the upper level of the dome chamber.
The only decoration is some simple moulded plaster in the
semi-domes, a stalactite niche head above the mihrab on the
north side, and some remains of painted plaster on the walls."
