RABATAK:
LOCATION: Baghlan
Province. 40 km east of Haibak on the road to Pul-i Khumri.
DATES: Kushan,
Hephthalite and Turk, 1st-9th C. (Ceramic); Timurid, 15th-16th
C. (Architectural, ceramic).
DESCRIPTION: Remains
of an old brick caravanserai and various miscellaneous mud-brick
structures. The caravanserai has a rectangular courtyard awith
four or five domed chambers openning into it on the north
and south sides. To the north are remains of mud-brick torwes
on the hillside.
